THIS IS IT!

Isn’t the crop of specialty pumpkins just gorgeous!   Even with the hot summer weather and the lack of water, our pumpkins are still the prettiest crop that we’ve ever grown.   Amazing, huh?   We still have pie pumpkins left for your thanksgiving menus as well!

In case you’ve lost track of time, this weekend is the last weekend in October and the last weekend for Walters’ Pumpkin Patch.   We’ll be having our Christmas sale and Wind Down to Winter 30% off all our merchandise excluding pumpkins, gourds, and squashes or canned products.   This is also the last weekend for the Haunted Cannery on Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 7:30pm and running to 11pm.  We won’t be as crowded as the past two weekends, so come on out to enjoy your last opportunity to bask in the Kansas sunshine prior to heading into winter.

It has been a wonderful season and we can only thank all of our faithful customers, and brand new visitors for allowing us to do what we love to do.   None of the school groups have been rained out this year which is always a blessing.   And we haven’t had too many groups getting onto the buses with muddy shoes……..that always is a worry to me.   So our season has been blessed and successful.   Thank you all for making it as such.

Until next time……I’ll be down in the patch gathering up the gourds we’ll use for projects to begin our journey into Pumpkin Fest 2012!  Hope to see you all again really soon!    Carroll & Becky Walters
